MOSAIC Technique UNFROGETTABLE

Its been sooooooooo long since I've posted....I just finished (phew) the 50 page scrapbook for the twins in Canada ( see Voila card)..and I had to get something up...Soooooo this is MY CREATION....a DOLLS Club Tech technique...I do not know if anyone else has ever thought of this...or LABORED over throwing away all that SU Rubber!!....But, since I LOVE to recycle & make STUFF outta JUNK....here goes:
Recipe: Take all of your bits'n pieces of "left-over" rubber and attach randomly to an acrylic block of your choice...leaving approximately 1/8" space between each piece ( this will be your "grout").
For this sample...I first covered the entire HOMEMADE stamp with VERSAMARK, then inked with Spectrum Pad ( I used SU Celebration) applied with a brayer...Using Beate Johns' Masking Technique, I stamped "mosaic" onto a masked area ( from Unfrogettable) onto whisper white c/s.....I then added Crystal Clear embossing powder & heat embossed.
After stamping the FUN FROG in Basic Brown Classic, I used my assorted markers to color him in, and then used Crystal Effects to "shine him up" ( eyeballs too!)
Applied to Only Orange c/s,& on top of A2 card base, then stamped with swirlys from PRICELESS ( I LOVELOVE this set!!) & sentiment with Whisper White CRAFT ink. I added a bow from White Organdy ( I bought up a TON of this when I saw it was retiring...why did SU do that?)
Honestly....with all the EXTRA RUBBER out there...the POSSIBILITIES are ENDLESS!!
